  • Put all of the small trash cans up on higher areas if you don't want your kid to play in them.

  • Unplug the phone from the wall so they don't accidentally call someone. This also then makes a very fun toy for kids once it's unplugged.

  • If you have a baby who is in a pack and play, I strongly suggest either putting this in the bathroom or in the closet if the closet is big enough. Don't worry- I'm not necessarily suggesting you close the door and lock the child in the closet! You can hang a sheet over the closet as a makeshift curtain or if it's around the corner from the bed, they won't see you anyway. Point being, if you're the parent of a baby, you know the second they see you from their crib- they're going to want to get out of the crib. This helps. Trust me!

  • If you have a toddler who sleeps in a crib but not a pack and play....turn the couch around in the hotel and put it against the wall. This is a makeshift crib now.
