How to Make a Hotel Kid Friendly

Put all of the small trash cans up on higher areas if you don't want your kid to play in them.
Unplug the phone from the wall so they don't accidentally call someone. This also then makes a very fun toy for kids once it's unplugged.
If you have a baby who is in a pack and play, I strongly suggest either putting this in the bathroom or in the closet if the closet is big enough. Don't worry- I'm not necessarily suggesting you close the door and lock the child in the closet! You can hang a sheet over the closet as a makeshift curtain or if it's around the corner from the bed, they won't see you anyway. Point being, if you're the parent of a baby, you know the second they see you from their crib- they're going to want to get out of the crib. This helps. Trust me!

If you have a toddler who sleeps in a crib but not a pack and play....turn the couch around in the hotel and put it against the wall. This is a makeshift crib now.
